Luke is a very brave little boy, but when night falls he hides under his sheets, absolutely terrified. When he lies in his bed, in the middle of the darkness, terrifying creatures visit him, such as Blubberhead the monster, Verruca the witch, or Clankenstein, the evil monster made of tin and wires who wanders all around the house. Luke pulls his sheets up higher and higher, trying to scare them awayand the worst thing is the night has only just begun! Each sound he hears becomes a fearsome monster in his mind, although...what are those sounds? Where do they really come from?
